Stag/Hind Conditioning Nut

Quality deer feed formulated to build and maintain the condition of hinds pre-mating and during pregnancy. This rut nut also builds and maintains the condition of spiker and stag pre-mating.

Feeding Guidelines

Starch, Protein and ME are all vital ingredients to maintain and increase growth rates of animals but rapidly degradable starch can cause acidosis, so it is vital to introduce the nut slowly until the desired feed rate has been reached (Red Hind up to 1kg per day & Wapiti Hind 1 ½ kg per day). It is recommended for the autumn and winter months to supplement grazing and for the dry summer conditions to ensure lactation when feeding fawns. In paddock feeders can be used to control intake or trailed through a standard grain feeder.
